Masters: I did my PGDRM from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand. I was there from 1999 to 2001. There were 65 students in my batch and I figured somewhere in the middle in the rankings of CGPA. I specialised in Information Systems and Finance. My summer project was on e-Governance in the district of Banaskantha in Gujarat. I got placed into Amul from the campus.
Bachelors: I graduated in Electrical Engineering in 1998 from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology(Utkal University) I belonged to the 13th batch of the college. There were around 100 students in my batch. My summer internship was on "Modified Wavetraps for efficient PLCC" and "Design of Active Digital Filters" IGIT is a Govt engineering college and one has to take entrance test to qualify for admissions. It was one of the four engineering colleges run by government.(REC Rourkela, UCE Burla and CET Bhubaneshwar being the other three) The education was state subsidised and in those days, each semester used to cost us Rs. 3600. The IT boom was just starting and campus placements were yet to reach our college.
Intermediate and Schooling: I passed my 12th from Government College, Panposh, Rourkela in 1993 with 80% marks. My schooling was completed from St. Vincents Convent School, Berhampur, Orissa. I passed ICSE in 1991 with 86% marks.
