People ask me frequently for suggestions regarding which book to read. This is a difficult question to answer as reading preferences are highly personal and are influenced by multiple factors such as age, experience among other things.
But if I had to recommend only one book to read then it would be Bill Bryson’s, “A Short History of Nearly Everything”.
Now, what is this book all about and why is this so great?
This book was published in 2003 and it tries to explain in layman’s terms the history of the universe right from the Big Bang to first life and then to the medieval ages and ends in contemporary history. The canvas is huge and the author has taken great pains to be correct and objective while explaining the complicated and difficult concepts.
If you can get hold of this book then please do read it. And let me know your feedback.15-hour stay at Tajpur, West Bengal »« How to use e-Sim in iPhones
