Jhargram is around 180 KMs from Kolkata and one can do a same day round-trip very conveniently. The roads are good and the traffic is mostly sparse once you hit the highways.

Once you cross Kolaghat the roads are mostly empty and you can enjoy the view of road-side lush greenery. As it was the paddy cultivation time.
